Home Assistant Calendar Integration

Purpose

This is a private, household-use integration connecting Google Calendar to a self-hosted Home Assistant instance to display calendar events and support household automations.

Google Calendar information

When an authorised Google account connects, the integration can access calendar information within the permissions granted during Google's authorisation process. This may include calendar names, event titles, dates, times, locations and descriptions. The Home Assistant integration requests Google Calendar access and may have permissions to manage events, depending on the granted scope.

How information is used

Calendar information is used within the private Home Assistant environment for calendar display and any household automations configured by its operator. This public information website does not request Google sign-in, collect calendar information or display calendar events.

Sharing and storage

The operator does not sell Google Calendar information or use it for advertising. Calendar data and authentication credentials are handled by the self-hosted Home Assistant installation and its configured integrations, not by this static information website. Google and other synchronisation services connected separately by the household have their own data practices.

Access and control

Access to the Home Assistant installation is restricted to authorised users. The Google account owner can revoke the integration's access through Google Account security settings. Calendar events can also be managed through the connected calendar service.
